Today marks an important milestone for Van Tilburg-Bastianen Group (TB) with the publication of their third Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) report for the year 2023. We are proud of our continued collaboration with TB, having prepared both the 2022 and 2023 reports. This year, we once again took a significant step forward by presenting the report not only in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines, but also in line with the new European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), as required by the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Our collaboration with Van Tilburg-Bastianen has once again been successful, as evidenced by the comprehensive and detailed report. The 2023 report reflects TB's intrinsic commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices.
This third CSR report, and the second to be published externally, demonstrates how TB is increasing its positive impact through zero-emission and low-emission mobility, while simultaneously reducing the negative impact of corporate emissions.
We would like to commend the Van Tilburg-Bastianen team for their efforts and the close collaboration that enabled us to deliver this detailed report on time. This edition is not only rich in content, but also visually appealing and accessible, presenting the extensive information in an engaging manner.
One of the significant improvements in the 2023 report is the integration of the acquisition of Allers Bedrijfswagens, a DAF dealer with seven locations in the south of the Netherlands and one in Germany, which took place in January 2023. This acquisition has not only expanded TB's geographical footprint, but also strengthened their capacity and expertise in the truck sector.
A key aspect of the 2023 report is the execution of a comprehensive double materiality assessment. Clients, suppliers and colleagues actively contributed to this process, resulting in in-depth insights and concrete recommendations for future sustainability initiatives. This analysis helped identify the most material ESG topics (Environmental, Social, Governance) for TB, and forms the basis for their strategy and reporting.
The CSR report 2023 of Van Tilburg-Bastianen has been prepared in accordance with both the ESRS and the GRI guidelines, meeting the highest international standards for sustainability reporting. This makes the report not only a valuable instrument for transparency and accountability, but also a source of inspiration for other companies in the sector.
This report is an excellent example of how companies can increase their sustainability impact through a comprehensive and insightful double materiality assessment. We are proud of our ongoing collaboration with TB and look forward to the further steps they will take on their sustainability journey.
